This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that could be used to identify you personally. We take the protection of your data seriously and handle it in line with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") where it applies.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. When you visit the site, Vercel processes the server log data described below on our behalf in order to deliver the website to you. Transfers of data to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For details, see Vercel's privacy policy.

Server Log Data

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores certain information in server log files, which your browser transmits to us. This includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the page you came from)
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Date and time of the server request
  • IP address (where applicable, in anonymized form)

We generally cannot and do not intend to identify you personally from this data. It is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the stability, security, and functionality of our website.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies of our own on this website. Some of the third-party services embedded here (Vimeo, YouTube and Calendly, described below) may store cookies or similar technologies on your device when you load or interact with them. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; this may limit some functionality, such as playing videos or booking a call.

Booking a Call (Calendly)

We use Calendly to let you book a call with us directly from our website. When you schedule a call, Calendly collects the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and any details you add about your inquiry, in order to arrange and confirm the appointment. This data is processed on the basis of your consent and to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

To show the booking window, our pages load Calendly's script and stylesheet from Calendly's servers, which transmits your IP address to Calendly LLC, USA. Calendly may process your data on servers outside the EU. For details on their data handling, please refer to Calendly's own privacy policy.

Embedded Videos (Vimeo)

Our introduction video, case studies and client reviews are embedded from Vimeo, operated by Vimeo.com, Inc., USA. When you open a page that contains a Vimeo video, your browser connects to Vimeo's servers and information such as your IP address and the page you visited is transmitted to Vimeo. Vimeo may also set cookies. We use Vimeo on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in presenting our work in an appealing way. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For details, see Vimeo's privacy policy.

Videos and Thumbnails from YouTube

In the section showing our productions, we display videos we produced for our clients on YouTube. The video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers, which transmits your IP address to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The videos themselves are only loaded when you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video plays, Google may store and process further data, including in the USA. We use this on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in showing examples of our work. For details, see Google's privacy policy.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is made when you visit the site.

How We Use and Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data or otherwise market it to third parties. Data you provide to us is only used to correspond with you and for the purpose for which you provided it. Data collected automatically during your visit is used only for the purposes described in this policy.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties where we are legally required to do so, where it's necessary to provide a service you've requested (such as Calendly for bookings), or where you have given us your prior consent.

SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons, our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar and the lock icon.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We only keep personal data submitted through our website for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for. Where statutory commercial or tax retention obligations apply, certain data may need to be retained for up to 10 years.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.

You can ask us to confirm whether we process personal data concerning you, and if so, to receive information about that data and how it's processed.

Right to Rectification

You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal data or complete incomplete data we hold about you.

Right to Erasure

You can ask us to delete your personal data where, for example, it's no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, you withdraw your consent, or it was processed unlawfully. This is subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You can ask us to restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances, for example while we verify a claim that your data is inaccurate.

Right to Data Portability

Where processing is based on consent or a contract and carried out by automated means, you can ask to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or ask us to transmit it to another controller.

Right to Object

Where we process your data based on a legitimate interest, you can object to that processing at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
